A software company announces a competition to fill the vacancy of Technical Writer.
The successful candidates will be invited for further interviews with our HR and Project managers.
Main responsibilities of the technical writer will include:
• Writing software documents such as User Manuals, Quick Start Guides and Installation Manuals, following the company’s style.
• Editing software architectural documents and specifications written by our development team.
• Creating flow charts, sequence diagrams and UML model diagrams to describe various processes.
Professional requirements:
• Excellent English both written and spoken.
• IT background is a plus.
• 3 year experience in writing documents for different target groups.
• Knowledge of RoboHelp or other programs for creating Help documents is welcome.
• Basic knowledge of HTML and Photoshop.
• Experience of work for a software development company.
The process of documents creation will imply a close cooperation with the development team and that is why we need a candidate to be:
• sociable and open-minded;
• self-organized and able to work with minimum supervision;
• flexible and ready to learn.
