Company expanding the staff and are looking for a C UNIX Programmer in Kyiv.
Background:
• New product development for an American customer
• Long-term partnership
• A mature software engineer is needed
• Spread Toolkit used (http://www.spread.org), participation in its code evolution
• Travel to the US for knowledge transfer and delivery is anticipated
Technical requirements:
Minimum:
• Knows TCP sockets
• Raw socket exposure
• Knows Unix
• Good C programmer
Perfect person requirements (additional to the above):
• Spread Toolkit experience
• Worked with IP multicast
• Knows raw sockets
• NT System level programming
• Java experience is a plus
• C++ experience is a plus
General requirements:
• Good written English skills
• Ability to travel to US
• Ability to think of several alternative solutions to a given problem
• Self-sufficiency: Requirements will be provided mostly with exit tests and the person will be let do the job on his/her own. Interaction with the customer will be minimal
Salary $1500-$2500 “fully white” (depends on skill level)
