PDF operator (верстальщик) Ciklum is currently looking for a PDF operator. The successful candidate should meet the following requirements: Experience: • Acrobat Professional (version 6 or 7) • Acrobat Distiller Desirable skills: • Other PDF production tools • Adobe Photoshop or similar image edition program • Preflight tools • Workflow tools • Desktop publishing tools like InDesign, Pagemaker or QuarkXpress Personal: • English speaking • Familiar with Latin language; decipher levels in text. • Possess a critical eye in terms of quality, accuracy and attention to detail • Strict sense of order and discipline in file-handling The candidate will be required to transform prepress PDF files and scanned PDF files to eBooks PDF files: - Mark-up TOC, headings and index to links - Create bookmarks for navigation - Crop PDF-document to new page-size (optimize file size) - Print Cropped PDF to PostScript file using Acrobat Distiller Other related tasks may be added, like saving or starting out with documents in other fileformats like Word, InDesign, QuarkXpress, Pagemaker, Framemaker.
