Job purpose:
·Manage Accounting Department, including systems, people and organizational issues, in order to ensure timely and correct submission of all financial statements as required by the legislation of Ukraine
·Ensure full compliance with the legislation of Ukraine in the area of accounting, compliance with internal control and reporting standards of J&J
·At the initial stage establish an accounting department, develop necessary procedures, implement the systems, establish relationships with banks and auditors
Major accountability
·Timely and high quality submission of all actual internal, external and tax financial reports
·Design&implementation of processes and systems to produce all required internal and external reports
·Coordination of internal and external statutory and GAAP audits
·Management of regular month-end closing processes
·Analysis of tax and statutory compliance of all the accounting transactions
·Monitoring of internal and external accounting standards and ensure their implementation
·Train and develop accounting staff, develop and implement corrective actions
·Active participation in business decisions, ensuring proper consideration of local legislative environment and internal reporting and accounting rules
Number of associates: 5-6
Required background
·Economic education, university degree
·At least 5 years of professional accounting experience
·At least 3 years experience from a top-tier global company
·Solid knowledge of statutory and GAAP accounting
·Fluent in English
·Strong knowledge of IT (preferably SAP, SUN Systems, SCALA)
·Process oriented thinking
·Strongly results driven
·Capable of working in an international environment
·Developed communication skills
·Proven leadership record
·Strong personality, senior behavior and self-presentation
