Location: Kiev, Ukraine
Under limited supervision, provide 24 x 7 global support services for one or more corporate applications. Track issues and manage related activities via the Corporate HelpDesk System. Analyze application problems and engage multiple resources to implement solutions with minimal assistance. Will be expected to develop technical expertise in one or more applications, and backup coverage in additional applications. As technical competency increases, will assume application support ownership of one or more applications. Will interact with internal clients. This role will also act as a technical resource for more junior members of the local support team
This is a Mid level position with relevant degree or experience. Interest in working with business users, application developers, regional operations, and vendors as needed, to understand and solve problems. Solid communication skills including verbal and written fluency in English a must. Strong customer service attitude. Experience in Lotus Notes, Power Builder, Relational Database (Oracle/MSSQL), Web Applications, and System Administration helpful.
This opening is focused on the support of Company developed, Commercial Off The Shelf (COTS), and 3rd party Application Service Provider (ASP) applications. Strong problem solving skills are needed on a daily basis. Flexibility and the ability to work in fast paced environment with sometimes short and changing deadlines. Ability to handle/manage multiple priorities.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills. Preference is for 2-4 years experience in a support related professional work environment.
