Reference (1) from Pechersk School International
Alexander Kritskiy taught the staff of the Pechersk School International from January 1 to June 30, 2006, on a contract basis.
For six months Alexander taught upper-intermediate, intermediate, pre-intermediate and elementary English to 30-35 employees. The groups included teachers of various subjects and those of other professional and vocational occupations.
Alex used a wide range of teaching materials and his teaching techniques included audio-recordings, educational films and other visual aids and supplementary teaching materials.
He also created the teaching materials he provided resulting in improved communication skills and confidence of the trainees. Alex created a friendly, productive atmosphere within the classroom.
I recommend hiring Alex as an English teacher.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further reference.

Reference (2) from Pechersk School International
Alexander Kritskiy was contracted to train the staff of the Pechersk International School from January 1 to June 30, 2006.
For six months Alexander trained about 30 local employees of the School's staff whose level of English ranged from Elementary to Advanced. Amongst the 30 were teachers of Russian, French and Mathematics, football, gymnastics, swimming and fencing instructors, a school engineer, a security guard, a medical nurse, two groups of about 7 drivers, a group of about 7 cleaners and a carpenter and a plumber.
Alex was always looking for the most appropriate teaching materials to fill gaps in the trainees' knowledge and increase their confidence. Alex also produced a number of teaching materials himself.
Alex did his best using the school's available equipment and recent teaching techniques including audio-recordings, video etc. He provided the students with teaching materials in the most appropriate format, including audio-tapes, audio CDs, Mp3-files for audio-players and teaching video-films and managed to noticeably improve the level of English of the staff.
Alex did not miss a single working day or lesson and maintained a friendly relationship with all the staff.
I would recommend Alexander to anybody to hire as an English teacher or trainer.
Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information.

I am pleased to provide you with a few words of reference for Alexander.
During my stay of more than one year in Kiev, I had the chance and
pleasure of meeting and working with Alex on many occasions. I can assure you of
his professionalism and seriousness.
He is hard working and extremely competent:
indeed his knowledge of the English language is extraordinary. Finally,
he also has a very pleasant personality and always ready to be of help.
I hope this has been helpfull and remain at your disposal should you
need anything further.
Thank you.

I understand you want a reference on Alex Kritskiy as a teacher to train
your staff in English.
I have known Alex for about 2 years and originally took Russian lessons
from him. I have also helped him with some training sessions for people learning English.
I can confirm that he is a very good English teacher and is very good at
teaching people useful words and phrases about any topic. He provides them with lists of useful
words and phrase and makes them easy to understand. He has done quite a lot of this kind of
work and I have seen him teaching and have been impressed by his teaching ability.
If you want any more information do not hesitate to ask. You can write
in Russian. I understand everything.
Regards

Alexander Kritsky asked me to provide you with a reference regarding
work teaching English for you. I am delighted.
I worked with Alexander during 1996-97 when he was with the State
Scientific and Technical Center under the Ukraine Ministry of
Environmental Protection and Nuclear Safety. Thanks to his excellent
English, easy communication style, professionalism and technical
knowledge he was my primary contact and go-between with the personnel
who were completing a research study "Accident Assessment for Chornobyl
Unit 3 from Potential Collapse of Adjacent Structures". This study was
funded by the U.S. Department of Energy, and I was the project manager
stationed in Slavutich, with frequent meetings in Kiev.
At that time I was studying Russian on my own, and Alexander informally
coached me often. He knows English and grammar and all the language
information needed to teach English. However, what is fully as
important (maybe more in a teacher) is that he is a people oriented
person who relates excellently in a one-on-one or small group setting.
This is of fundamental importance - actually a necessity- in
establishing good student-teacher rapport and mentoring. I am certain
that you will be pleased with his performance if you hire him.
By way of a personal aside, after our project was finished I engaged
Alexander as a guide and interpreter for me and my wife Barabara to
visit Alushta on the Black Sea for a week. This was convenient for all
of us, because he had family who would be there at the same time. We
had a wonderful time, met many new people, and saw a part of Ukraine
that was new to us. I am attaching a picture taken on the beach after
swimming at night, of Alexander, my wife Barbara, and Jura and Olya who
rented us the room that we stayed in while in Alushta.
Thanks to you and Alexander for providing me the opportunity to relive
some wonderful experiences that we shared.
As I stated above, Alexander is an excellent English linguist, he is
professional, he communicates well, and he relates personally to those
with whom he works. I hope that you find it in your interest to hire
him.
