1- Establishing relationships with customers and suppliers to grow the business.
2- Communicate (preferably on a daily basis) with all customers and
suppliers across the globe to spot opportunities to increase business and profitability as a whole
3- Buying and selling of minutes at competitive rates for retail and
wholesale VOIP voice traffic.
4- Manage costs per minute and margin per minute with billing dept and
seek ways to grow revenue and margins for the company
5- Aggressively drive cost reduction from current and new suppliers
6- Negotiate best margins possible and manage route profitability and
oversee sales team
7- Manage customer/supplier buy-sell rates
8- Generate new leads and interconnect new leads into routing as fast as possible
9- Explore deals to buy and sell in a reciprocal/bilateral arrangement to
10- Achieve and exceed sales and margin quotas
11- Provide daily/weekly reports and updates with respect to new leads
12- Manage sales contracts with customers and suppliers, ensuring proper closure.
13- Continually monitor customer and supplier voice traffic with help of
NOC team, and identify areas for improvement and growth
14- Liaise with Finance, Rate Analyst teams, and board of
directors/founders to ensure all internal process and procedures are adhered to and approved for new and existing customer/suppliers
15- Work (on control level) with operations and engineering to ensure
customer and supplier issues are resolved on a timely manner and they are growing their voice traffic with us.
16- Assist ENGINEERING and OPERATIONS in developing and improving
processes that lead to faster and proper closure of new leads.
17- Create and implement plans (for sales team and himself) to grow
market share in the assigned region to meet margin, and revenue goals
18- Thorough understanding of market dynamics and geographic region knowing how they will affect the Accounts and a company activities in general (profit and margin components)
19- In depth knowledge of Account’s business and products along with an
ability to pro-actively
anticipate Account’s needs
20- Create a high standard of achievement – always think above and
beyond customer expectations
21- Market research and forecasting for additional business
opportunities, competitive intelligence and planning
22- Target, establish and maintain key relationships in all appropriate functions and operational units within the Account. Must work cross-functionally
1- A Degree in a relevant field from an accredited university.
2- Experience in Sales is necessary.
3- Experience and knowledge in VOIP Wholesale is an advantage.
4- Ability to communicate extremely effectively at all levels of an organization both verbally and written. Excellent written and oral communication skills, fluency in English is a must
5- Must be well organized and detail and results oriented.
6- Willing to travel when necessary, 30% of the time dedicated to international travel
7- Must be aggressive in buying and selling.
8- Possess a “hunter” mentality, proactive in approaching and opening
new deals and aggressive in ensuring closure as fast as possible.
9- Possess good negotiating skills.
10- Pleasant personality, sociable, outgoing, able to work as a team-leader.
11- Ability to research and effectively recommend plans to gain market share
12- Experience in effectively driving, influencing and relationship building
13- Independent thinker with strong analytical ability
14- Big picture person with willingness to roll up his/her sleeves
15- Significant customer facing experience and success
16- High degree of polished leadership skills
