The office of the OSCE Project Co-ordinator in Ukraine is seeking a qualified and motivated person to fill the position of:
Project Officer
Long-term Election Project
Tasks:
� Participating in the process of elaboration of project concepts
� Drafting project-related documents, including project proposals, agreements with implementing partners, project-related instructions and reporting templates
� Planning, drafting and elaborating budget proposal in accordance with foreseen project, estimating needs and costs for relevant activities
� Participation in the work of high-level working groups with participation of MPs and government officials
� Conducting training on electoral legislation as required during election periods
� Qualitative monitoring of project implementation, overseeing adherence by implementing partners to relevant project guidelines, regulations and timelines
� Providing analysis and expertise on electoral issues
� Participating as a speaker at various round tables, seminars and workshops, representing the Election Section, as well as participating as an observer at various national and international conferences
� Translating various documents, including legal, and interpreting at various meetings
Requirements:
� Minimum 2 years of professional experience in international organizations in the preparation and organization of elections
� Demonstrable organizational, analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
� Established experience in drafting project proposals and reports; and ability to work with governmental institutions
� Computer literate with experience working with Microsoft package
� Ability to work with people of different nationalities, religions and cultural backgrounds
� Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Ukrainian
