Large IT-company opens Java/Snr. Java Developer position in department, which projects are being developed for the only customer.
Responsibilities:
-Will be required to work within a team of developers on all Java/J2EE aspects of the system.
-Will also be required to work with business analysts and other groups to translate user requirements into technical solutions: they must be able to take requirements, produce high/low level designs, implement and deliver the changes to the business.
Requirements:
-3+ years WebSphere J2EE development including EJB development
-Exposure to ORM tools (Hibernate preferred)
-Experience in a structured development environment
-Strong experience of Oracle and Stored Procedure development
-Experience of UNIX scripting
-Knowledge/experience of financial markets
-Fluent English
Highly desirable:
-1-2 years XML/Web Services
-Java and .Net interconnectivity
-Knowledge of ClearCase source code control
-Some exposure to the Spring framework
-Technical tools – JUnit, ant, CruiseControl
