Our client, big foreign publishing company, due to active growth on Ukrainian market, currently seeks:
Chief Accountant / Finance Manager
Responsibilities:
• Take responsibility for the proper functioning of finance and controlling function;
• Responsible for maintenance of correct accounting records and compliance with all fiscal taxes, CIT, VAT etc and filing of appropriate returns;
• Responsible for tax strategy of organisation, ensure that optimal tax planning opportunities are exploited where commercially sensible;
• Responsible for preparation of Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Management;
• Accounts both for external, group purposes and internal store purposes;
• Responsible for preparation of 3 year plan, internal budget and external budget;
• Responsible for regular forecasting and planning of P&L, Cash Flow and Balance Sheet;
• Setting timetables to ensure internal and external reporting requirements are met;
• Responsible for Payroll and HR administration of the company;
• Setting and monitoring reserves and provisions;
• Benchmarking of costs and performance versus external and or internal data;
• In conjunction with IT set and be responsible for the IT strategy of the organisation.
Competencies:
• Team Player with experience in managing small team;
• A leader, willing to move a team to a higher level of performance;
• Analytical;
• Good project planner, able to plan timelines and people in cross functional teams;
• Ability to interact independently with high level personnel, including shareholder representatives;
• Good IS skills, knowledge of developments in IS systems and potential impact on organisation;
• Knowledge and interest in best practice with regard to planning systems and process;
Qualifications:
• A qualified accountant with either international or local qualification or financial background, with appropriate experience in similar position;
• Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking English and/or Polish.
