DNK Education Group is an international team of language teaching professionals with over 10 yearsv experience of quality language teaching in Ukraine and worldwide. Our long term association with the Open Society Institute, International House World Organization and the School for International Training shaped our beliefs in Experiential Learning, Communicative Methodology and life long learning and professional development.
In 2007-2008 we are expanding to the major cities throughout Ukraine and will be hiring young ambitious people who would like to grow into real professionals and consequently get a well-paid job, build a successful career and regularly participate in various professional development events in Ukraine and abroad.
We require that all our teachers, in addition to a university degree in linguistics, have an internationally recognized teaching qualification, such as SIT TESOL Certificate, CELTA or IHCTL. Each of the above qualifications is awarded after completion of a corresponding course in Communicative Methodology.
There are two ways of joining the DNK Education Group team:
A (fast track)
This summer you take a 4 week intensive SITTESOL Certifiate course in Communicative Methodology offered in Kiev and Dnipropetrovsk. The course will be delivered by an international team of licensed trainers who all have wide teaching and training experience. The course usually consists of eighty hours of instruction in methodology, twenty-four hours of lesson planning, thirty-six hours of ESOL teaching and class observation, and eighteen hours of feedback on your learning and teaching.
After completing the course, the most successful candidates will be offered a full-time position with DNK Education Group and a competitive remuneration package.
The course fee is $1100 (Dnipropetrovsk) and $1300 (Kiev).
B (long track)
This summer you take a 2-3 week semi-intensive introductory course at one of our locations, and then over the next academic year gain teaching and learning experience as an apprentice teacher by working in one of our satellite or weekend schools, and observing and being mentored by an experienced teacher. The best apprentice teachers will next summer be recommended to take an intensive SITTESOL Certificate course subsidized by the DNK Education Group and join our team on a full time basis.
The course fee is $200, the apprenticeship fee is $400.
