A United States based Software Company is seeking for highly qualified Java Engineer to be part of our team located in a new development office in Kiev. We work with IBM technologies in a state-of-the-art enterprise Java environment creating an innovative, challenging software system to comply with the needs of our customers – typical Fortune 500 companies in the USA.
Successful candidates should meet the following requirements:
• MS/BS degree in Computer Science or related field;
• 2-5 years of proven experience with enterprise Java development;
• Excellent knowledge of Java (J2EE, EJB);
• Working experience with IBM WebSphere software platform;
• Experience developing for IBM DB/2, knowledge of SQL;
• Strong understanding of XML data format specification;
• Good command of technical English (written).
Desired skills:
• Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript will be a plus;
• Experience of UML design creation with IBM Rational Rose will be greatly appreciated.
